Change Management
Effective change management provides confidence that scope increases and decreases are identified in the current budget and schedule baselines and are properly communicated to the project team. The lack of suitable change management can lead to rework increases, cost over-runs, and schedule delays. It can also lead to incomplete, and often incorrect, decision-making. Good change management, however, helps ensure project success by confirming proper scope is being worked, analyzed, forecasted, and completed. Sound change management is particularly beneficial in client and subcontractor contract and performance communications.
